The article above, explains how director; Gary Ross is unable to direct the sequel; "Catching Fire" to the "The Hunger Games."
Gary Ross was talking about writing the sequel; "Catching Fire" the second movie out of three of four movies, planned by Lionsgate. Unfortunately, Gary Ross said "I simply do not have the time to write and prep the movie I have wanted to make, because of the fixed and tight production schedule" in a meeting yesterday with the Vancouver based Lionsgate. Liongate, in Santa, Monica in California did not address the time for choosing a new director yet, or if whether the change with affect the release of "Catching Fire." Lionsgate said, "We are very sorry that Gary Ross has chosen not to direct "Catching Fire, we were really looking forward to work with him." "He did an incredible job on the first movie, and we are grateful for his work."
My thoughts, about Gary Ross not directing the sequel, is that I am somewhat disappointed. But, I do understand that directors have other jobs to do and have very tight schedules, there will always be another opportunity. Im sure though, that Lionsgate will find a new director for the sequel; "Catching Fire."
When, and if they do, I'm sure that everyone will be excited for the sequel, just like they were for "The Hunger Games."

Blog Review, Blog post #3
A blog that I have read about the "Hunger Games" review, thought the "Hunger Games "was spectacular, they gave the movie a grade A. The person said that the director did a good job with choosing familiar actors and unknown, each of the actors/actresses suited their character. They thought that the actress; Jennifer Lawrence who played Katniss Everdeen was the perfect person to play her, she was tough, strong and naturally beautiful. She made a good connection with her co-star Josh Hutcherston and the other cast mates. The person also gave a short review of the book for those who have not read the book, or seen the movie. They also said that the movie stayed very true to the book, with a few changes that have worked with the movie, the director did a superior job in of conveying its message.
I had the same opinions as the person who wrote the blog, "The Hunger Games" is a very venturesome story, I would give it five stars my self with no question to it. The actors that the directors chose was a good choice, the actors/actresses stayed true to their character and did a magnificent job making the character coming alive and more real. The actors looked so real to what I pictured in my head while reading the book,
